Spanish Royalty Save Cord Blood in California, Ignite Debates

The Spanish crown prince, Felipe and princess Letizia have sent their baby’s cord blood to an umbilical cord blood bank in California.
This has ignited debates in Spain as the Health Ministry had banned private cord blood banks from conducting business, stating that cord blood should be donated to state owned blood banks for everyone’s use.
